Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A recent gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative news european union with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
